About the Role

We’re looking for a iOS Engineer to join our team at GlamAI. If you have a passion for crafting visually stunning applications and want to work on AI-powered video creation, this is your chance to grow and make an impact. You’ll work closely with experienced developers, learning best practices and contributing to exciting features.

Key Responsibilities

1. Feature Implementation:
   • Assist in the development of new features for our AI-powered video and photo editing application.
   • Contribute to either of our key product directions:
     • Editing tools like filters, effects, and creative video features.
     • Social features that make our app a community — likes, comments, feeds, and profiles.
   • Prior experience in either of these areas is a plus, but not required.
2. Code Optimization & Maintenance:
   • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
   • Learn and apply techniques to optimize app performance, ensuring a smooth user experience.
3. Collaboration & Learning:
   • Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and bring ideas to life.
   • Participate in code reviews and actively seek feedback to improve skills.
4. Testing & Debugging:
   • Assist in identifying and fixing bugs.
   • Work with QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

1. A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of iOS development experience (internships or personal projects count!).
3. Familiarity with Swift (knowledge of Objective-C is a plus).
4. Strong understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Dispatch, Swift Concurrency. (Combine and Native Network communications is a plus)
5. Basic understanding of iOS frameworks like Core Graphics and Core Animation.
6. Experience working with version control systems (Git) and an eagerness to learn team development workflows.
7. Passion for mobile development and a strong willingness to grow in a fast-paced environment.
